Scalpel - an essential dermatological tool used “for making skin incisions, tissue dissections, and a variety of surgical approaches since the onset of 'modern' surgery.
Hemostat - a surgical tool used to clamp blood vessels and control bleeding.
Retractors - a surgical tool that holds open incisions, separates tissues, or holds back organs.
Bone Saw - a surgical instrument used to cut or remove bones.
Cautery - A procedure that uses heat from an electric current to destroy abnormal tissue, such as a tumor ot other lesion. It may also be used to control bleeding during surgery or after an injury.
Surgical Drill - Medical instrument used to create precise holes in bone during surgery.
Iodine Surgical Scrub - an antiseptic solution that contains povidone-iodine, which is used to disinfect skin and hands before surgery or patient care. It can also be used to treat minor wounds.
Be sure to wear your scrubs, gloves and mask and wash your hands before and after every surgery. Failure to do so will result in giving your patient an infection which, if left untreated can be deadly. Make sure to clean your tools after every surgey aswell by placing them in the sterilizer, the surgical room will also need cleaned and sterilized. You don't want to spread infection.
Please ensure that your patients are properly diagnosed and that all medications and personnel needed for the procedure have been prepared.
Find a suitable operating room.
Gain consent from the patient to carry out the surgery.
Make sure you are wearing full scrubs with sterile mask and gloves.
Have the patient lay on the surgical bed.
Inject the patient with Propofol.
Monitor the patient until they are unconscious.
There are many Different types of surgeries that can be performed. Sometimes it will be necessary to have the patient hooked up to an IV or someone on standby to inject medications during the procedure.
