closing a surgical site

The final steps of most surgeries.

1. Fix any bones back in place using plates and pins.

2. Use retractors to place all tissue and skin back in place.

3. Stitch up the incision.

4. Dress the surgical area with gauze and bandages.

5. Move the patient to a recovery room.
