opening a surgical site

The first steps of most surgeries.

1. Complete Surgery Prep.

2. Use scalpel to create an incision.

3. Use a hemostat to stop and potential bleeding.

4. Use a retractor to open the incision and keep the skin/tissue out of the way.

For internal work in chest and skull only:

1. Use bone saw to cut through bone.

2. Use retractors to move the bone aside.
